Cảm biến độ nghiêng đo độ nghiêng trong trường hấp dẫn bằng cảm biến MEMS (Hệ thống vi cơ điện tử) với quá trình số hóa và tuyến tính hóa tiếp theo thông qua bộ điều khiển.
Nó có vỏ nhôm ổn định (tùy chọn là thép không gỉ) và có khả năng chống rung và sốc cao. Các biện pháp đúc trong vỏ dẫn đến việc đạt được cấp bảo vệ IP 69K.
NBT có hệ thống cảm biến MEMS dự phòng, được sử dụng để thực hiện kiểm tra độ hợp lý bên trong cảm biến độ nghiêng.
Chỉ có một ngày vị trí được đưa ra; độ hợp lý của ngày này được kiểm tra bằng cách sử dụng ngày vị trí của hệ thống thứ hai. Nếu độ lệch của hai hệ thống cao hơn một giá trị nhất định, cảm biến sẽ vào trạng thái an toàn.
